VOWER’s signature blend of post-metal intensity, progressive intricacy, and post-hardcore urgency has only evolved since their inception. Formed from the embers of Black Peaks, Palm Reader, and Toska, the band — Josh McKeown, Rabea Massaad, Joe Gosney, Liam Kearley, and Rory McLean — have found something entirely new in each other.


Their recent EP, written and recorded by Vower, engineered, mixed & produced by Rabea Massad and mastered by Adam “Nolly” Getgood, is a statement of total creative control and a reflection of a group fully in their stride. “‘A Storm Lined With Silver’ was a lyric written about bringing a child into the world.” says vocalist Josh McKeown,  “It’s about finding divinity, purity and positivity within chaos, madness and uncertainty.”


Last summer saw VOWER dominate stages at 2000trees, Download, and ArcTanGent, cementing their reputation as a must-see live band.


We are excited to bring the band to Reading’s Facebar.
